Kaan Çakır
Kaan Çakır is a film producer working between London and İstanbul. At Goldsmiths, University of London, where he studied Media & Communications and then Filmmaking, he produced five short films and documentaries. They include Blowout, an Official Selection at five international festivals in 2025, which raised £6,050 on Kickstarter, and Exhale, selected for IFFSA Toronto 2024. In İstanbul he has worked in streaming: as a production assistant at GAİN, supporting development and post-production on documentary and entertainment programmes, and earlier as a production intern at Goya Entertainment on two tabii original series. His focus now is development for scripted film and drama. He works in English and Turkish, and also speaks German.
